Registration should be made well in advance of the trip and at least 72 hours before entry. Furthermore, we have to include date of birth when ordering tickets to the US, as this is a requirement.
  • Passport, visa and vaccinations

The traveler is required to have a valid passport, visa, transit visa and required vaccinations, also for accompanying children. Check that you have blank pages for stamps in your passport before departure, since you may be rejected in certain countries if this is not the case.

When traveling outside the EU, or with the purchase of a cruise, the passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that the entry and exit rules for the countries visited are observed. If your passport contains stamps from Israel you must make the agent aware of this when booking as it can exclude entry in several countries.

It is the country’s authorities, which defines the rules for entry, and this information should be obtained through the consulate or embassy. It is also the traveler’s responsibility to check that all travel documents are correct; eg.that names are spelled correctly in accordance with the passports. If there is a discrepancy between travel documents and the name in the passport you can be rejected at check-in. There is a fee for name change in already issued documents, which can be up to the price of a new ticket. To check if the name and ticket match, a Photo ID needs to be presented, both at check-in and when boarding the plane. Always remember your passport, also when travelling in Scandinavia.

When purchasing a flight ticket with more than one line, all prior flights need to be flown for the last flight to be valid. Airlines have the right to cancel further flights if the passenger does not show up for one or more flight of the issued ticket.

  • Complaints

Any complaints during the tour must immediately be made to the shipping line, airline, organizer’s representative on the spot and the travel agent, so that an error/defect can be rectified immediately and with minimum inconvenience.

If you complain directly to the relevant airline, shipping line, hotel or organizer’s representative on site, you should make sure that you have proof if the defect/fault cannot be corrected on the spot. Failing to obtain proof will make it harder for you to make a subsequent claim. Lack of complaint to the travel agent will usually result in the loss of right to later claims.

Note, when signing a document, you enter into a binding contract; for example the rental of car or motorcycle will be binding by the text in the contract, regardless of what verbal information may have be given.
