This trip combines the amazing national parks of Utah with the best of the Western United States. This tour is in league of its own, completely different to any other. Each day brings amazing new experiences; canyons, desert, mountains, vast forests, beautiful national parks, and all the glitter of the cities, and lets not forget the Pacific Coast Highway 1.
This tour begins in Las Vegas and ends in the amazing city of Los Angeles. Along the way we will visit the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, Arches National Park, Zion Canyon, Dead Horse Point, Death Valley, Mammoth, Yosemite. San Francisco, The Pacific Coast Highway and many more magnificent places along the way.
The timing is perfect – the heat is not yet suffocating, and we may be lucky to see areas of the desert, which are in full bloom.
We drive on long stretches of Route 66, before we start visiting the many magnificent sites; we begin with the Grand Canyon, where you can take a fantastic panoramic helicopter tour, a very unique experience (not included within the trip price). A comfortable ECO-Star helicopter can accommodate 7 passengers; the views are absolutely stunning.
It goes without asking why Utah attracts thousands of visitors each year from all around the world. The natural attractions come thick and fast without warning, and you will have ample time to explore and experience them.
After the break day in the gambling capital of the world Las Vegas, we will need to get out onto the open road where our bikes belong.
On the route we will approach one of the world’s hottest places: Death Valley. You’ll drive along one of the best bike roads in the world, often with unique views of the horizon. Late in the day we cool down while we climbs up to the 3,300-meter high on our motorcycles. Tioga Pass is by the entrance to Yosemite National Park – one of the most unique places on earth.
After all of these great natural experiences we drive towards San Francisco. Have you ever crossed the Golden Gate Bridge on a Harley? It is an amazing experience! Now we approach Highway 1, which stretches from San Francisco to Los Angeles along the Pacific coast.
The national parks in the United States are large, and the roads are great and lead us past some beautiful scenery. The tour ends in Los Angeles, with a delicious farewell dinner at the hotel.

You can choose from several different Harley Davidson models, Indian selected motorcycles and certain Honda Gold Wing’s.
Requests for specific motorcycle types are granted if possible. Always state first and second priority.

Departure – arrival at Las Vegas.
The tour guide will greet you at the airport and make sure that you arrive at the hotel. Check-in and welcome dinner.
We take an introductory bus tour in Las Vegas – visiting a giant Harley shop and the big casino The Venezian. By early afternoon we get our motorcycles, and then you can cruise down the main street “The Strip”, on your own. There are lots of exciting hotels and attractions. In the evening, the tour guide will take for a walk on the Strip, and you will experience some of the sights up close.
Collective ride out of town – travel managers helps the group through the dense traffic. We cross over the Colorado River at Hoover Dam and we are now in Arizona. We drive a long stretch on the old Route 66 and visit some of the famous places; Seligman, Oatman, Hack Berry and more. We spend the night in the Route 66 town Williams.
We ride up to the Grand Canyon and start the day with a fantastic helicopter tour – the tour lasts approximately ½ hours and costs about $ 240 (not incl.) Afterwards, you will have plenty of time on the bike to explore this unique natural scenery. You will follow a glorious MC road with many vantage points along the edge. We continue out of Grand Canyon National Park and visit a market where the Indians display their silver handicrafts. We then drive to the Navajo town of Tuba City, where we spend the night.
We drive through Indian reservations to get to Monument Valley – known from countless cowboy movies. Afterwards we continue to Mexican Hat and take a look at Goose Neck Canyon. From here a fantastic road leads us to the top desert plateau.
We will spend the night in Utah.
On the way to the main town of Moab, we visit the funny cliff house”Hole in the Rock,” which is made by a Danish immigrant. Afterwards we drive up to the vantage point “Dead Horse Point” where a spectacular view awaits. The town of Moab is surrounded by national parks, and we stay here for 2 nights.
You have the whole day to explore the Canyon lands- and the Arches National Park. Incredible landscapes await your visit. You may want go river rafting instead- an exciting ½ day trip down the Colorado River in an inflatable raft. (About 50$ incl. Lunch)
We leave Moab and head towards the incredibly beautiful National Capitol Reef. This is a day of stunning vistas and landscapes – we are driving on one of the most beautiful roads in the USA – Route 12. We continue towards Bryce Canyon, where we spend the night just outside the park.
We have saved some surprises for last. In Bryce Canyon we drive through some of the most beautiful scenery America can offer. We ride up to the top of this amazing park and watch the colorful rock formations. We then continue towards another highlight, Zion National Park. We ride through the deep ravine, and you will get a good sense of the overwhelming forces of nature that have formed this beautiful place.
Warning – this is a day filled with strong nature experiences that you will never forget. We will spend the night in St. George.
We leave St. George early in the morning, enabling us to be back in Las Vegas for a dip in the pool before it gets dark. Along the way we visit the beautiful park “Valley of Fire”. Afternoon and evening is at your disposal.
Rest day in Las Vegas.
The tours longest stage. In the morning we say goodbye to Las Vegas and ride towards the open expanses. After leaving the gambling capital of the world, we travel towards the mountains west of the city, and against the spectacular scenery in Death Valley National Park. Despite the heat, Death Valley in an indescribable motorcycle experience with truly spectacular MC riding on roads designed for exactly this purpose. When you ride into Death Valley, you’ll understand how the area got its name from. The Valley is one of the world’s hottest but also one of the lowest points in the Western Hemisphere.
Having arrived at Death Valley, we can only imagine how our ancestors had felt on their way to California during the great hunt for the promised gold.
We stop for an early lunch at the ranch Furnace Creek and then continue the journey through the park’s unique beauty. After leaving Death Valley we travel north towards California’s Owens Valley on the west side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Our hotel for tonight is located in the ski resort of Mammoth Lakes.
Compared to the previous stage, today we have a shorter ride. We need to have plenty of time to enjoy and explore America’s perhaps most beautiful national park, Yosemite. We continue north onto Lee Vining where we find the entrance to Yosemite. If the weather permits, we will ride our bikes up over 3300 meters to Tioga pass.
At the summit of the pass, our tour guides will set up a meeting with everybody and give directions for the way to the hotel, plus traffic regulations and rules of conduct within the park. You then have the possibility to enjoy the park on your own. For instance, you can ride through the beautiful valley up to Glacier Point, which has a view that will be etched into your memory for life.
Enjoy the day, alone or with your friends in this magnificent park, Later we will meet for a beer at the “The Lazy Donkey” in Oakhurst.
After breakfast briefing we will set of through the canyon into the central valley of California. We will continue north from Mariposa on the state route 49, This route is truly beautiful and breathtaking with many hairpin turns through the mountains on the way down to the valley below. From this point we continue onto a stretch of highway towards Oakland, on this route we will travel over the San Rafel bridge to our lunch stop in Sausalito.
After been refreshed we set off again out tothe Golden Gate Recreation Area to enjoy its famous view of the San Francisco skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge. We now travel over maybe arguably the world’s most famous bridge -The Golden Gate Bridge – with the song California Dreaming in our heads. Passing the Golden Gate Bridge gives you a thrill, and a sense that you are part of something historic.
After a ride through this amazing city, we come to our hotel located perfectly on the waterfront of Fisherman’s Wharf The hotel is situated within walking distance to the famous steep streets of San Francisco, and Union Square.
A shopping mecca.
This day, you are on your own. Spend the day exploring the beautiful city nicknamed “The Paris of the West”. You can take a walk along the famous Fisherman Wharf, maybe visit Pier 39 and watch the wild sea lions, or Take a boat trip to the famous rock commonly known as Alcatraz prison.
One not to forget is the famous SF cable cars, or maybe take a stroll to Chinatown, where there are many restaurants.
No matter what you choose to do in SF, this amazing city has just about everything. Please remember we are back on the road tomorrow morning.
Today we ride out of this beautiful city, making a short stop at the top of the Twin Peaks. This is a great vantage point where you’ll be able to enjoy the views of the San Francisco’s skyline from the Southside.
We are now approaching motorcycle paradise the famous “Pacific Coast Highway 1″. We will stop along the way to take photographs or just to enjoy the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
Today lunch stop will be in the small town of Santa Cruz, which has breathtaking view over the ocean.
After lunch we will travel towards Monterey. We will plan an arrival time so as to give us enough time to explore Cannery Row or Monterey Bay Aquarium, which is also said to be one of the best aquariums in the world.
We start the day by riding to the center of Carmel. This is where Clint Eastwood was Major, apparently he still owns properties within the city and visits from time to time.
We will spend some time in Carmel, and cruise up and down Ocean Avenue, there are many art galleries and shops so if you wish to stop for shopping feel free.
The next few hours you will experience the most magnificent ride imaginable, as the whole route offers views of the Pacific Ocean. We pass through Andrew Molera & Pfeiffer Big Sur State parks and Los Padres National Park.
Along the way, you may if luck is on our side, we may see some whales along the coast you may also see pelicans flying in formation, along with many other wonders of nature.
For the next 100Km you are on your own without guides
We will recommend two favorite lunch stops where we can meet up a few hours later, both with views you can only dream of.
After this very exciting day we check in at our beachfront hotel, on the ocean shore. A delicious dinner at the best local seafood restaurant is the perfect way to conclude this day.
Magnificent motorcycling.
The last day on the bikes take us further along the Pacific Ocean Highway until we turn back into the countryside. This is another breathtaking route, which will lead us deep into the hidden bush of Los Padres National Forrest. This ride takes us by several of the famous California wineries. After this great trip we ride back to the coastal road and eat lunch on the pier in Santa Barbara. After strolling along the famous beach, we continue by the coast road to Malibu, where we will stop before the final ride into Los Angeles.
If time permits, we will make a short stop in Santa Monica before we deliver our Motorbikes in the local HD shop. Afterwards we will be driven to our hotel in Los Angeles by bus. It is now time for dinner and a few farewell drinks to say those final goodbyes to the new friends and MC staff you have meet
On this trip you’ll have ridden your motorcycles almost 4000 km through some of Americas’ most beautiful regions, you’ll have experiences and seen some fantastic places leaving fond memories.
